What Are Maine Lakes Worth To You?

A three-year study recently conducted by the University of Maine has valued Maine’s lakes at $14 billion.

Teacher Shana Mendelson’s elementary school class has been doing an environmental science project about lakes and ponds — and they’ve been studying Georges Pond!
